Grant From Kendal Takes On Kendalife

My name is Grant, I’m from Kendal and I am going to take Kendalife, the complete meal replacement shake for the next 4 weeks.

I’ve heard Kendalife is great for losing weight and it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while. When I reached 15 stone that’s when I decided I needed to make this change.

Kendalife suggest taking it to replace 2 meals each day, that’s good, I imagine if I tried to take it for every meal I would be bored of the taste by Friday and give up. I’ll do my best to keep those meals healthy too. The plan is to do this every day for the next 4 weeks and I’ll record my progress.

My starting weight: 15st 04.

Target weight: 14st in just 4 weeks

That’s 1 stone in 4 weeks, 3.5lbs each week. I also want to loose body fat so as well as this I’m going to get out and exercise at least twice each week.

Week 1 Target – 14st 10.5

Day 1:

I started with the Mango & Passionfuit, using 4 heaped tablespoons with 3/4 of a pint of water to blend it up. I found I am allergic to passionfruit, I had some kind of reaction, my lips went sore and my stomach was repeating – not pleasant!

Day 2:

Let’s start again! I tried the Super Berry. The same method of preparation and blending, feeling much better with this one and it tastes good too.

Day 3:

Super berry breakfast and lunch, feeling like I have more energy and I went for a 9 km run. Felt good!

Day 4:

Same again breakfast and lunch.

Day 5:

I had Kendalife just for lunch today, it’s Friday and I don’t want to overdo it.

Day 6:

Kendalife for breakfast and lunch, went for 8km run, feeling better!

Looking back at the past 4 weeks I found that my weight fell quickly but not too fast.

The Kendalife meal replacement plan has had its ups and downs and some hungry spells in the second week, but overall great! I am doing more exercise, I have more energy and I’m trying to get 2 runs a week in to keep my fitness level up and I’ve entered the Keswick to Barrow 42 mile walk, I’m thinking of starting another month on the Kendalife plan to see if I can lose another stone in weight so I don’t have to carry that for 42 miles as well!!

During the 3rd week I found that I was no longer craving a fry up or a snack, Kendalife had me full for the rest of the day. I will definitely continue taking Kendalife but I think I’ll mix it up a bit more, I’ll add in some extra fruit, some days use milk rather than water that sort of thing. If you’re looking to lose weight at a healthy pace Kendalife is something I strongly recommend!
